By accessing and using ResumeScore Canada, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on ResumeScore Canada for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the website
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server
• Use any tools, software, or scripts to scrape, crawl, or automate access to our service

3. Free Resume Checker Tool

As Is: The free resume scoring tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of the ATS score or keyword analysis
• That following the tool's recommendations will result in job interviews or offers
• That the tool covers every ATS system or employer requirement
• Uninterrupted or error-free service

No Liability: We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of or reliance on the free tool. The tool is intended for informational purposes only and should be used in conjunction with professional resume review.

4. Paid Resume Audit Service ($99 CAD)

Service Description: The $99 CAD written audit includes:

• ATS keyword alignment analysis against provided job descriptions
• Canadian formatting compliance review
• Identification and removal of prohibited personal details
• LinkedIn profile review and recommendations
• Detailed written report from an experienced resume reviewer

Delivery: We guarantee a 48-hour turnaround from the time we receive all required information. This is a delivery timeline, not a guarantee of job interview outcomes.

No Job Guarantee: ResumeScore Canada does not guarantee, warrant, or represent that the audit will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. A stronger resume increases your chances, but hiring decisions depend on many factors outside our control.

5. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment: Payment for the $99 CAD audit is processed securely at the time of order. We accept major credit cards.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the service, provided:

• You request the refund before receiving your completed audit report
• You provide clear reason for the refund request

After receiving your completed report, refunds are not available as the service has been fully delivered.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of any account information
• Providing accurate and complete information when requesting services
• Ensuring you have the right to submit the resume content (i.e., it is your own resume)
• Using the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not using the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, design, graphics, and materials on ResumeScore Canada are the property of ResumeScore Canada or its content suppliers and are protected by international copyright laws. However, any resume content you submit remains your property. We use your resume only to provide the services requested.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ResumeScore Canada, its owners, employees, or agents be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use our website or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResumeScore Canada, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our website or services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

10. Disclaimers

Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive to provide accurate ATS analysis and resume feedback, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Different ATS systems work differently, and scoring can vary.

Professional Advice: ResumeScore Canada provides resume feedback only. We are not a law firm, HR consultancy, or employment agency. For legal or professional advice, consult appropriate professionals.

No Guarantee of Results: There is no guarantee that using our service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Career outcomes depend on numerous factors including qualifications, market conditions, and application strategy.

11. Canadian Compliance Check Disclaimer

Our Canadian Compliance Check flags prohibited personal details based on Canadian Human Rights Act and Employment Equity Act standards. However, we recommend consulting with legal professionals if you have specific questions about compliance with employment law in your province, as requirements may vary.

12. Data and Content You Submit

Your Data: You retain all rights to the resume and job description content you submit. We use your content only to provide the services you request.

Automatic Deletion: All resume and job description content is automatically deleted from our servers 30 days after submission, in compliance with PIPEDA.

Feedback Reports: We may use aggregated, anonymized data about usage patterns to improve our service, but your personal resume content will not be shared or used for any purpose other than providing the service you requested.

13. Modifications to Terms

ResumeScore Canada may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using the website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

14. Termination

ResumeScore Canada may terminate or suspend access to our service without notice for conduct that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to our service, users, or business.

15. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of Ontario, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario.
